Shirley Martin

Field Manager

As field manager at Beaton, Shirley supervises a team of more than 50 fieldwork interviewers, who are located throughout Australia. She is an experienced fieldwork interviewer with brilliant people skills. Her genuine interest in people lends her a warm compassion to which respondents and colleagues react very positively. In previous roles, Shirley worked in administration in a range of industries from law to design, and has also been heavily involved in community youth work. At Beaton, Shirley manages employment and training of staff, delegation and supervision of work, and support to interviewers, dealing with all issues that arise in the field.
