Oh what a night…BD truly comes of age in a leading #BigLaw firm

Last night in Sydney at the BRW Client Choice Awards (for details go here and here) the cream of Australia's professional services leaders gathered to hear which firms had won these prestigious and most sought after citations for 2013.
The rules of the gala evening allow only the best firm in each of consulting engineering, accountancy and law to speak at the podium after receiving their award. When the turn of Jason Ricketts, the newly appointed Australian managing partner of Herbert Smith Freehills, came to make his short acceptance speech this is what he said.... (more…)
