  1. Respondents are sent an individualised on-line invitation to participate in an on-line study being carried out for Beaton Research and Consulting Pty Ltd on behalf of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (the Institute). The domain hosting the online survey is http://host.beatonresearch.com
  2. The survey commences on Monday 17 March 2014 and closes on Friday 28 March 2014.
  3. Business directors, management and employees, their immediate families, associated companies and agencies of Beaton Research & Consulting Pty Ltd, the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and any agencies associated with this research are ineligible to enter.
  4. All respondents who fully complete the survey and agree to the prize draw prior to 5.30pm AEST DST Friday 28 March 2014 will automatically be placed in a draw to win the prize. There will be two (2) winners drawn.
  5. The winners will each receive $1,000 worth of training & development provided by the Institute which will be valid for 12 months from the date of the prize draw. This prize does not cover any costs associated with travel or accommodation to attend any of the chosen training & development events.
  6. The prize is valid for any Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia run training & development events (face to face or online) and can be used as either a full or partial payment.
  7. The total prize pool is NZ$2,000.
  8. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable.
  9. The prize draw will be conducted at 10am on Monday 7 April 2014 at Level 3, 650 Chapel Street South Yarra, Vic., 3141. The management of Beaton Research and Consulting Pty Ltd will draw two names at random from a listing of those respondents who fully completed the survey within the specified time frame. These two people will win the prizes.
  10. The draw will be overseen by an independent scrutineer.
  11. The draw is not contingent on winners being present for the draw.
  12. The prize winners will be notified by email by Tuesday 8 April 2014. The winners will be required to contact Beaton Research and Consulting Pty Ltd via phone – +61 3 9829 0000 – or return email to claim their prize once they are notified. The winners will not be reimbursed for the cost of a phone call to Beaton Research and Consulting Pty Ltd.
  13. Prize winners will receive their prize via an email voucher sent to their nominated email address.
  14. Prize winners will receive the prizes no later than one month from when they contact Beaton Research & Consulting Pty Ltd.
  15. In the event that the prize winner is not contactable, and all reasonable actions have been taken by Beaton Research & Consulting Pty Ltd to contact the winner, a second chance or unclaimed prize draw will take place at the same premises at 10am AEST DST Friday 1 August 2014. The second chance prize winner will be notified in writing via email by 5pm AEST DST the same day of the draw; Friday 1 August 2014.
  16. The second chance prize winner will be published in the public notice section of The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 6 August 2014.
  17. This Trade Promotion lottery is to be known as the ‘New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants Learning & Development Research 2014’.
  18. Full records of the prize draw will be kept for 12 months after the draw and will be available upon request.
